As you dear readers are all no doubt aware, after we moved into Vard, the local slaves (TRIAD) took great affront to our presence and demanded we leave (well, first they asked if we would move to Lantorn instead, but we said no). In response, they launched this campaign. Great stuff, I thought. Now I don't even have to move system to get a fight. So, a week goes by, ships are popped, plexes are run and GF are had by all.
While perusing “teh interwebs”, I notice that this individual has posted an update on the 1st week of the campaign. Here’s where the fun starts. As you can see on the previous link, the centrepiece is a lovely table showing the number of kills, isk efficiency, and number of losses incurred by each of the top scorers. At least it would have, had the statistics been accurate. The campaign was announced on the 11th April, the update on the 18th, so it’s safe to assume this is the length of the first week of the campaign.
According to the table, good ol’ Mara Abraham is ranked 1st with 10 kills, 1 loss. Unfortunately, her killboard says otherwise. Remember, we’re looking at the period between the 11th and the 18th, for kills in Vard. What’s this? On the 11th alone she lost not one, but two ships? Maybe this doesn’t count either? I hope this blatant manipulation of statistics goes to show the character of my new lossmail stalker. Not only will he lie to the enemy, he'll lie to his corp.
