The Winds of Change....

Oh Hai discerning public...

The more canny amongst you will have noticed a slight drop in the activity surrounding H.TH over the past week or so, fear not fellow pew pew fans we have merely taken a logistical sabbatical...

Some of you who have served the Imperial Crusade for a reasonable length of time will already know the Theodolous clan is retreating to one of it's worlds having spent far to much time and wealth in their pods. We wish them the best of luck with their planet side endeavours however some of us just are not ready to return to a life of peace....

"So what now?" I hear you say. Well those of us who still wish to see this war continued are moving to the aptly named Black Sheep Syndicate to continue removing the Matari hordes from their ships in the most violent manner possible.

Our old allegiances still stand and our goals remain the same, carnage will continue and Mystical Might is still awesome.....

That is all.

The Last Few Days

So we begin the night getting word of a Maelstrom mission running in RAA, Lord Morgo and Myself run off in an SFI and an Enyo to hunt this sucker down... Unfortunately the Wiley Minmatar runs off into the night heading straight for Minnie highsec, using the Amarrian navy to assist in web aligning the Mael powers toward Rens the few seconds it takes us to figure its destination pay off for him as we catch him only as he enters Minnie space. Good escape.

Meanwhle however Ross and TRIAD probably receiving intel on our wherabouts put a wolfpack together and are sighted floating around Raa. By this point Vitha and Furlock have rallied with us bringing a rupture and a Jag we decide to head off to engage their gang. By the time we hit low sec Flyinghotpocket is inbound in his Caldari Navy Hookbill dragging Rampage in tow with a Jaguar as we get better intel on the enemy. Coming from Vard Hotpocket and Rampage have by now hooked up with Sandman in his Imperial Navy Slicer and we're confident that we have the ships to offer a good fight. The enemy retreat to Sifilar but the order evidently doesnt get passed around as NitroDSP jumps into our gang as it returns from highsec and looses his Rupture:

http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=207381

One ship down we're now happy that we can take these guys on an even footing. word comes to us from Militia chat that another militia member is stalking the same gang solo in his hurricane and has entered from the TZVI area, by complete accident we now have all exits covered. Ryan warps in his cane and sure enough is aggro'd by the waiting gang the order to jump and engage is given as a friendly Incursus also wades into the melee now happening on the gate. A good fight is had by all:

http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=207385

However usual Minnie rhetoric about over shipping gets thrown around by a select few of the enemy as we loot the field and pull out.

Later in the evening we link up with the always fun TMFED guys and stroll out into Metro in search of a pirate gang that has been chased from the Dal area. With the pirates giving us little cause to hang around after being docked up in station for a good 20 minutes we start to roll back up the pipe. A Minnie gang is waiting for us on the Dal gate in Hof, however some of the fleet have GCC after taking a pop at a know neutral alt and the decision is made to bounce around then dock up to wait out GCC in Eszur.

GCC down the fleet opts to fight slightly outgunned as the Minnie's wait on the station undock. another close brawl ensues with roughly even losses on both sides:

Your loving writer at this time takes a moment to mourn the loss of his first ever Falcon that served him well for three years but eventually being pointed by more people than it had jammers succumbed to overwhelming firepower:

Goodbye sweet falcon you will be..... replaced.

Anyhoo moving swiftly on.... the following night House Theo successfully bait switches Katonica's Ruppie, a bit over shipped but hell they undock Mega's on Punishers so who's counting eh?

A bit of running around with Zero and TMFED follows trying to catch a pirate fleet without success Morgo and I decide to hunt a 3 man frigate gang we've spotted hanging around the Sifilar/Auga gate. Nowhere to be seen we decide what the hell and engage a Cane in Dal on the Auga gate, his reiforcements soon arrive and we're forcefully separated from our ships. Returning to Vard to receive the previously mentioned offers of affection from Katonica....

Morgo swoops off in his Maladiction whilst I write and bags himself a brace of T2 frigates representing TMFED well:

With that we're up to date folks and I'm off to watch some TV.....

Spoony

Lurve Dodecahedron

So the dashing boys from HTH are at it again breaking hearts all over New Eden...

[23:24:29] Katonica > I love you

[23:24:40] FlyingSpoonyBadger > I'm sure you do

[23:24:53] FlyingSpoonyBadger > Mara has already admitted having homo erotic dreams about us

[23:25:00] Katonica > I know

[23:25:05] FlyingSpoonyBadger > We are quite dashing after all

[23:25:06] Lord Morgo > its only natural, look at us

[23:25:07] Katonica > Its all good

[23:25:32] FlyingSpoonyBadger > Yup everyone needs a fan boi might as well be you

[23:25:44] Katonica > ah....smitten

[23:26:16] Katonica > u know I´m gonna fucken rape u dont ya

[23:27:06] FlyingSpoonyBadger > I'm sure you fap in anticipation nightly bro

[23:27:14] FlyingSpoonyBadger > nice pert ass like mine

[23:27:18] Katonica > x

So how many more Minmatar will fall for the charms of New Edens premiere party corp? Only time will tell.

Amarr Victor!

Yesterday, at ~19:00 Eve Time, I logged in to an already heated system.  Two of our pilots, Amaike and flyinghotpocket, recently had an engagement with several Federal Investigation Agency members.  Outnumbered, they still managed to keep their cool and kill two pilots while sending two others into structure before going down.

Smelling the narcotic scent of PvP, the rest of H.TH snaps into action.  Before we know it, we're in Ezzara and in warp to a medium plex.  Another Amarrian fleet is also nearby and we decide to work together for the greater good.

As we all wait on gate, the Minmatar decide this fair fight is none to their liking.  They quickly exit the plex and Ezzara, leaving us quite frustrated.  We start to receive intel on the fleet from various system and we notice that they are working their way around to Vard.  Not wanting to disappoint, several in our fleet warp to the Vard gate in Ezzara.  Just as planned, one of our members jumps into Ezzara, shouting the alarm on comms.  We wait for a good 30 seconds which feels like an eternity.  Finally, several of the Minmatar pilots decide to jump into our waiting arms.  Since only 4 or so of us are on gate, the scouts send the word to their fleet and aggress our bait crew.  The word is sent to the rest of the fleet and they begin their warp.  What follows is a blur of laser blasts, missile streaks and autocannons blazing.  The fight continues on for a good 15 minutes with several pilots on both sides reshipping and coming back for more.  Primaries are being shouted over one another and the battle rages on.

Slowly,  the fog of war begins to release it's grip  Talk comes much easier and targets are getting scarce. As we observe the field, the Minmatar begin their retreat.  A scramble for loot is called as thoughts of a retaliation fleet form.  Once everyone was safely back in station, the word was shout, "Amarr Victor!!!"

Full battle report can be found here.  Thank you to everyone who made this fight a good one.  A special shout out to Seraphine Keratus/Keratuus who sacrificed 4 ships to the war machine.

4-30 Vard Defense

Last night once about vard was under siege by a hive mind who does not engage unless his odds are 4 to 1 or his swarm reinforcements are on the way. We triggered that last night. After undocking a harbinger to fight 2 other bc's hurricane, and a cyclone and shooting them for 20 minutes i figured they may want to play a little 2v1? seems unfair but i was willing. They weren't.
Hurricane pilot Unblessed83 docked up and undocked a tempest. to fight MY lone harbinger. honestly?! so now its my bc against a bs and a bc. Thinking that they must be shit fit anyways as they always are. i go get my Maelstrom and come back. surely they will fight them now. NOPE.

After about an 45 minutes of me wasting ammo on them, They agress me. HOORAY!!!!! that what was going on in my brain, alright i start laying into the tempest, about half way threw the tempests shields, 10 man local spike of course. i new i had some friends helping me out. like my buddy lyria docked up in the station with a hurricane. and his buddy's. they weren't going to engage but now the fight was on. our caldari militia friends warp their drake in and decloak the falcon, Warp in the hurricane

We wax the tempest almost the same time the bc blob lands. My maelstrom was not able to tank over 5000 battlecruiser dps, and the GTC Galatea went down.

After they were still camping in station. we decide FUCK it, were gonna fight them anyways, we undock in several harbingers only our 5 man gang against 10 bc's we still downed quiet a few bc's before they got us. whatever, they dont have the balls to fight Fair like we do.

Everytime we Fight Fair, Fair is fail.

T.R.I.A.D. are terribad: and I have stats to prove it

As you dear readers are all no doubt aware, after we moved into Vard, the local slaves (TRIAD) took great affront to our presence and demanded we leave (well, first they asked if we would move to Lantorn instead, but we said no). In response, they launched this campaign. Great stuff, I thought.  Now I don't even have to move system to get a fight. So, a week goes by, ships are popped, plexes are run and GF are had by all.
While perusing “teh interwebs”, I notice that this individual has posted an update on the 1st week of the campaign. Here’s where the fun starts. As you can see on the previous link, the centrepiece is a lovely table showing the number of kills, isk efficiency, and number of losses incurred by each of the top scorers. At least it would have, had the statistics been accurate. The campaign was announced on the 11th April, the update on the 18th, so it’s safe to assume this is the length of the first week of the campaign.
According to the table, good ol’ Mara Abraham is ranked 1st with 10 kills, 1 loss. Unfortunately, her killboard says otherwise. Remember, we’re looking at the period between the 11th and the 18th, for kills in Vard. What’s this? On the 11th alone she lost not one, but two ships? Maybe this doesn’t count either? I hope this blatant manipulation of statistics goes to show the character of my new lossmail stalker. Not only will he lie to the enemy, he'll lie to his corp.

Mystical Might

He is awesome that is all.

Jatinegara loses his Typhoon Fleet Issue!!!!11!!one!!!

Ha ha, no he didn't.

Last night, at a time when most pod pilot are asleep, Jatinegara was just getting back to Vard.  As he approached our home station, he noticed a Hurricane belonging to Bigds4u sitting outside.

I want to take this time to go into the short history that I have experienced with Jatinegara...  This man is straight crazy about killing Minmatar.  He will bite, claw, fly or sacrifice whatever he needs to in order to get the advantage.  He is a damn good pilot to have in H.TH but by God is he insane...

That being said, Jatinegara decides the best course of action is to dock up and come out in his Typhoon Fleet Issue and move ~15km off the undock.  Bigd4u sees his chance, he opens fire on Jat.  Suddenly and to the surprise of absolutely nobody, 5 more Minmatar pilots jump into our home system of Vard.  Here is how the conversation went on our internal comms:
Jat: "Alright, Bigda4u is siting near the undock with an two interceptors, engaging Big D"
FHP: "Small local spike"
Chandler: "Let us know if you need help, Jat."
Jat: "I'm good, shields are holding... actually, I could use some more points.  They've primaried me...wait...yeah, I think they're shooting me"
At this point, Flyinghotpocket in an Omen Navy and Chandler in an Armageddon undock, spreading their warp disruptors about.  To sum up the fight, this is what happened.  Two hurricanes down an Jat's ship and it's extremely "fly" paint job still intact.

Will Jat ever lose his TFI?  The Lord only knows.  We can definitely say it's not on Jat's lack of trying.

Until next time, pilots.  Fly safe 07

Well Holy Crap

Another night in the Amarr Militia for H.TH and one full of highs and lows, as FW is wont to be.

First, we pick up a fair amount of kills during the day in a fairly one sided BS fight:

Later, House Theo link up with other Amarrian Militia members to roam around the Metro area, hot on the heels of intel regarding an Aeon class mothership being thrown around like it was free. Militia pilots scramble to deal with the maniac who clearly has too much money to his name. Rather unfortunately for us, the bugger managed to slip our HIC's and do a runner, not without leaving his bait damnation to get royally squished in a belt:

Returning to Vard, TRIAD (typical of their recent displays) leave the area due to roughly equal numbers in local and go on a roam to Gallente space.
After some fairly serious station spinning, TRIAD return and we ship down in the hopes of getting a fight.  A couple of Tuskers enter local and start scouting around for kills. After bouncing around chasing them for a while, Morgo finally manages to get them to engage his Wolf off bottom station and help is quick to arrive. Although we missed some fairly epic bounties on pods we were more than happy to discover we'd just made a 120mil Jaguar kill:
http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=204619

Later in the evening, more and more Minnie militia members begin to enter local.  Having spun in station for significant periods of time, I decide to go for it and undock the Mega (It's been awhile since I flew one of these and they're always fun).
On the undock we have a Ranis, Harpy, Cane and Tempest.  At last a fight! \o/
Other members of HTH are out of position for this but I decide to Leeroy anyway.  The Hurricane's shields fold and Mara quickly docks, now for the tempest.... Katonica's shields crumple.... out comes the Cane again followed by a scimitar :-(
The tempest's shields are quickly patched up and my Mega goes down in a blaze as I try to deaggro.  Good job TRIAD!
More random Pirates enter local.  Initially showing neutral, we suspected foul play from TRIAD.  As these neutrals suddenly light up flashy in local and one by one TRIAD dock, this seems not to be the case. After having a sneaky peek outside, its clear they've safed up in a gang of about 8 drakes a Myrm and a cane... a bit too much for the three guys we have in local. Morgo convo's TRIAD to see if they fancy a joint gank on the pie's but TRIAD, true to their usual form, start freaking out in local chat shouting at Morgo not to convo them... honestly?
Again some serious station spinning ensues and TRIAD are right back out trying to camp the undock  Morgo and myself easily slip past and warp to a stronghold in SFI's, hoping they'd ship down and come to fight.  No takers from TRIAD, sadly,  despite outnumbering us 6 to 2.
We did have takers from the Minnie faction though with Sumdumgi and CannonFodder82 showing their faces in an unlikely combo of a Moa and Ruppie  Expecting a trap, we engage anyway. Using a rather nasty combo of a Neuting Moa and a tricked out Ruppie and dropping ECM drones they manage to take down Morg's SFI's before the rupture pops and the Moa runs. Fair play to these guys for coming for a 2 on 2 with seemingly lesser ships.  Unfortunately, I can only guess Fodder still had aggro when he hit station.  The same pesky Pirates were back shooting him up on his landing (we didn't realize this until checking the killboards later that night).
So an end to an eventful night and just more justification at least for me in moving to Vard. A lesser wall of text on the TRIAD engagements can be seen on Mara's blog.c You'll have to excuse the spittle exploding from your monitor as TRIADs lead motor mouth rants on about the glorious Minmatar victories won in those fights:

Tuesday 4-19-11

Around 1600 eve time, the House starts to wake up and get on comms, already itching for a fight. With only 2 members on at this time and they have already set out to destroy some Minnie dogs.  We immediately discover that our home system, Vard, is under attack. Enemies are plexing in our system.

I go into the minor plex and quickly Tackle the TRIAD pet M'nu, an Autocannonz member.  Having trouble hitting the Slave and I call for backup. Lord Morgo starts heading down to Vard from Arzad, and runs into Mara Abraham in a thrasher and forces her to jettison the goods and pod out 1 minute before i kill M'nu.

Lord Morgo arrives int he minor plex to assist the defense of Vard, when the pet comes back for more in a Firetail that we quickly executed. Two of his buddies appeared on short-range scan, in a Wolf and a Harpy.  Little did they know, the minor would not let their over-classing ships inside.  Victory was ours!!

Another lackey, Seraphine Keratus, warps in and we bag him too. About 9 minutes after we are still defensive plexing and the famous ROSS fleet jumps in with a Comet, Thrasher, Rifter and 2 Griffins. Typical of the minmatar militia to out-ship every chance they get in the hope's that we both will stay around and let them kill us.  We are thus force to abandon our plex and take only 1 casualty.

A few hours later, another attempt to kill H.TH was foiled.  Mara Abraham aggressed in his rupture in an attempt to kill a Jaguar, presumably assuming we had a blob, (which we never do) and thinking his buddies would help if he engaged. He was eviscerated. Let it be known his corp-mate undocked in a Nag.  Unfortunately for the pilot, they were artillery fit and could only watch as Mara Abraham perished before their eyes, pod and all

There's a time to die TRIAD, you cannot escape your destiny

An emotional word from Mara Abraham

As my previous postings covered briefly shortly after we moved to Vard Mara sent us an epic mail which will follow in short order. With Mara acting the big business in local smacking and asking us if we're mad etc we decided to forward this mail onto some of the Minnie Militia members whilst Mara ranted away in local chat telling us all how upset we were that TRIAD were obviously winning an epic victory (Really?).

I'll leave it upto you guys to decide who was truly mad at this point :-)

Apology for my emotional words in Vard last night and sharing of thoughts
From: Mara Abraham
Sent: 2011.04.05 15:11
To: Flyinghotpocket, FlyingSpoonyBadger, Lord Morgo, Onesimus Theodoulos,

Good day, Onesimus Theodoulos, Lord Morgo, FlyingSpoonyBadger, and Flyinghotpocket:

I apologize for my heavily, heated, and emotional words used in Vard local yesterday, mainly directed at FlyingSpoonyBadger, btu also at Lord Morgo and Flyinghotpocket.

I went to bed thinking that I never called anyone a homosexual in anger before; and felt ashamed. I am sorry.

While what I'm about to write does not excuse such language, for which I'm sorry, I did want to share why HTH's actions in Vard have me hurt as well as upset.

Onesimus Theodoulos, when you approached me about joinign HTH, I was flattered. Since I had just rejoined T.R.I.A.D. and did not want to bounce around (I even said no when I had an opportunity to rejoin ROSS), I told you and your fellow corporation members (when they would ask) that the answer (at least for the time being was no).

I did not push it completely outside the window of occuring because I cannot predict the future; and I like open doors vs. closed doors.

That's why when there were various requests for honor duels, I did my best to get there (it was typically at a location of your chosing which puts the pressure on the one getting there to get there safely, un ganked), and then honor each agreement. I.e. when to stopo shooting.

When I found out your coproation had me marked blue, I asked for that to be removed so there would be no accidents. And I realized that when I was primared in battle by any member of your coropration, that is a part of FW.

However, I made the mistake of believing one could be friends with a war target corporation or person or group of persons on the other side. I allowed myself to think, and even communicate with various T.R.I.A.D. members that HTH was a corporation where we could arrange more fair (as fair as fair gets in war) combat.

With the slicer move, which I appreciate, the trust was so heavy when I contracted it to you, it was done on the basis of free; just as you freely transported it; and I ensured safe passage with T.R.I.A.D. members being told do not shoot.

When Lord Morgo stated having ships in Vard, I tried to tell myself, no big deal; this was not an outright betrayal of friendship or trust. But then when the station games started happening with one of T.R.I.A.D. members being repeated podded (he left our corporation in part, due to the multiple ganks by HTH), I realized that HTH is no better (or worse) than any other war target.

There was zero, real (to me honor is not just here and there based on consensual one v. one, but ongoing through out) honor between our houses (so to write -- HTH and T.R.I.A.D. or me personally).

What makes matters more insulting is several of HTH members complaining about IFW station gaming (and you should know by now TRIAD and IFW are not related), and then HTH members do that to TRIAD members?

Then when one of our newer, combat, members gets attacked in a belt in Vard by Flyinghotpocket, it cannot be 1v1, but Lord Morgo has to come in the Dramiel (almost all know it to be the king of frigs) and have a 2 v1 with Flyinghotpocket stating in local it was not a station game (well, gank is gank).

That stated, I once more apologize for my emotional words. I will watch what I say more closely.

Also know, though, from my standing point if there is no honor through and through (i.e. selective -- case by case -- honor is not honor), then there is no honor.

Based on these actions, I will never join the Amarr, never consider HTH, and as previously stated will do everything I can do within game mechanics as an outright enemy of HTH until HTH is out of Vard.

Thank you.

So there you have it chaps we decided to stay even if Mara was having homo erotic dreams about us.....

Spoony

Vard so far

Well what can I say its been a busy few weeks for H.TH. Our move to Vard was prompted by trying to find a home that wasn't just the default stack up point for Amarrian FW pilots and that would offer us easy access to pvp given the history most of our members have with Vard and after rejecting a few other systems Vard was chosen.

We have not been disappointed within days of moving there Vard rapidly ascended our most violent systems table and has provided us with the continued entertainment of TRIAD getting very upset with us...

From the first day of moving in Mara Abraham seemed to take personal offence at us choosing the location and asked TRIAD to return home starting a new home defence campaign and pulling TRIAD corp members away from their high sec raiding of Amarrian logistical routes, a victory before we even opened fire...

The first few days became quite hectic with HTH putting in some serious logistical wrangling to get ships and equipment into the system over the shortest possible period with more and more TRIAD members showing up in system coming back from their highsec raids all the time. A few skirmishes occurred as to be expected at this point with TRIAD claiming glorious victory in the name of the minmatar republic (a dubious claim at best). Accompanied by what can only be described as an epic mail from Mara we realised we'd hit upon something special here (A copy of this mail will follow).

So far we've seen small skirmishes with TRIAD and other Minnie FW corps being called in as fast as TRIAD can spam the militia channel accompanied by vast amounts of smack from Mara and some of her companions. Despite this however HTH still controls Vard for the majority of both timezones only being forced to dock when 15-20 man Minnie fleets run to assist terribad TRIAD.

TRIAD recently changed tack and decided to undock capitols to assist in getting us dislodged however this proved pretty ineffective as it was repeatedly forced to dock by four battleships fielded by HTH whilst its tackling Myrmidon was turned into Swiss cheese.

On the whole so far the move has been very enjoyable for HTH with the added spice of reading Mara's appallingly blinkered blog postings and general weepings in local the combat is fairly good and we've taken to redecorating the station interior pulling down the ridiculously drab Matari furnishings and installing sofa's fit for true pod pilots...

Better news to follow....

House Theodoulos moves into Vard!!!

House Theodoulos, the corp of both handsome and intelligent folks, has decided to set up shop in Vard!  This was almost a difficult decision to make until H.TH realized there was nealy zero threat in this system.  See you in interweb space!!!
