The Winds of Change....

Oh Hai discerning public...

The more canny amongst you will have noticed a slight drop in the activity surrounding H.TH over the past week or so, fear not fellow pew pew fans we have merely taken a logistical sabbatical...

Some of you who have served the Imperial Crusade for a reasonable length of time will already know the Theodolous clan is retreating to one of it's worlds having spent far to much time and wealth in their pods. We wish them the best of luck with their planet side endeavours however some of us just are not ready to return to a life of peace....

"So what now?" I hear you say. Well those of us who still wish to see this war continued are moving to the aptly named Black Sheep Syndicate to continue removing the Matari hordes from their ships in the most violent manner possible.

Our old allegiances still stand and our goals remain the same, carnage will continue and Mystical Might is still awesome.....

That is all.

The Last Few Days

So we begin the night getting word of a Maelstrom mission running in RAA, Lord Morgo and Myself run off in an SFI and an Enyo to hunt this sucker down... Unfortunately the Wiley Minmatar runs off into the night heading straight for Minnie highsec, using the Amarrian navy to assist in web aligning the Mael powers toward Rens the few seconds it takes us to figure its destination pay off for him as we catch him only as he enters Minnie space. Good escape.

Meanwhle however Ross and TRIAD probably receiving intel on our wherabouts put a wolfpack together and are sighted floating around Raa. By this point Vitha and Furlock have rallied with us bringing a rupture and a Jag we decide to head off to engage their gang. By the time we hit low sec Flyinghotpocket is inbound in his Caldari Navy Hookbill dragging Rampage in tow with a Jaguar as we get better intel on the enemy. Coming from Vard Hotpocket and Rampage have by now hooked up with Sandman in his Imperial Navy Slicer and we're confident that we have the ships to offer a good fight. The enemy retreat to Sifilar but the order evidently doesnt get passed around as NitroDSP jumps into our gang as it returns from highsec and looses his Rupture:

One ship down we're now happy that we can take these guys on an even footing. word comes to us from Militia chat that another militia member is stalking the same gang solo in his hurricane and has entered from the TZVI area, by complete accident we now have all exits covered. Ryan warps in his cane and sure enough is aggro'd by the waiting gang the order to jump and engage is given as a friendly Incursus also wades into the melee now happening on the gate. A good fight is had by all:

However usual Minnie rhetoric about over shipping gets thrown around by a select few of the enemy as we loot the field and pull out.

Later in the evening we link up with the always fun TMFED guys and stroll out into Metro in search of a pirate gang that has been chased from the Dal area. With the pirates giving us little cause to hang around after being docked up in station for a good 20 minutes we start to roll back up the pipe. A Minnie gang is waiting for us on the Dal gate in Hof, however some of the fleet have GCC after taking a pop at a know neutral alt and the decision is made to bounce around then dock up to wait out GCC in Eszur.

GCC down the fleet opts to fight slightly outgunned as the Minnie's wait on the station undock. another close brawl ensues with roughly even losses on both sides:

Your loving writer at this time takes a moment to mourn the loss of his first ever Falcon that served him well for three years but eventually being pointed by more people than it had jammers succumbed to overwhelming firepower:

Goodbye sweet falcon you will be..... replaced.

Anyhoo moving swiftly on.... the following night House Theo successfully bait switches Katonica's Ruppie, a bit over shipped but hell they undock Mega's on Punishers so who's counting eh?

A bit of running around with Zero and TMFED follows trying to catch a pirate fleet without success Morgo and I decide to hunt a 3 man frigate gang we've spotted hanging around the Sifilar/Auga gate. Nowhere to be seen we decide what the hell and engage a Cane in Dal on the Auga gate, his reiforcements soon arrive and we're forcefully separated from our ships. Returning to Vard to receive the previously mentioned offers of affection from Katonica....

Morgo swoops off in his Maladiction whilst I write and bags himself a brace of T2 frigates representing TMFED well:

Amarr Victor!

Yesterday, at ~19:00 Eve Time, I logged in to an already heated system.  Two of our pilots, Amaike and flyinghotpocket, recently had an engagement with several Federal Investigation Agency members.  Outnumbered, they still managed to keep their cool and kill two pilots while sending two others into structure before going down.

Smelling the narcotic scent of PvP, the rest of H.TH snaps into action.  Before we know it, we're in Ezzara and in warp to a medium plex.  Another Amarrian fleet is also nearby and we decide to work together for the greater good.

As we all wait on gate, the Minmatar decide this fair fight is none to their liking.  They quickly exit the plex and Ezzara, leaving us quite frustrated.  We start to receive intel on the fleet from various system and we notice that they are working their way around to Vard.  Not wanting to disappoint, several in our fleet warp to the Vard gate in Ezzara.  Just as planned, one of our members jumps into Ezzara, shouting the alarm on comms.  We wait for a good 30 seconds which feels like an eternity.  Finally, several of the Minmatar pilots decide to jump into our waiting arms.  Since only 4 or so of us are on gate, the scouts send the word to their fleet and aggress our bait crew.  The word is sent to the rest of the fleet and they begin their warp.  What follows is a blur of laser blasts, missile streaks and autocannons blazing.  The fight continues on for a good 15 minutes with several pilots on both sides reshipping and coming back for more.  Primaries are being shouted over one another and the battle rages on.

Slowly,  the fog of war begins to release it's grip  Talk comes much easier and targets are getting scarce. As we observe the field, the Minmatar begin their retreat.  A scramble for loot is called as thoughts of a retaliation fleet form.  Once everyone was safely back in station, the word was shout, "Amarr Victor!!!"

Full battle report can be found here.  Thank you to everyone who made this fight a good one.  A special shout out to Seraphine Keratus/Keratuus who sacrificed 4 ships to the war machine.

4-30 Vard Defense

Last night once about vard was under siege by a hive mind who does not engage unless his odds are 4 to 1 or his swarm reinforcements are on the way. We triggered that last night. After undocking a harbinger to fight 2 other bc's hurricane, and a cyclone and shooting them for 20 minutes i figured they may want to play a little 2v1? seems unfair but i was willing. They weren't.
Hurricane pilot Unblessed83 docked up and undocked a tempest. to fight MY lone harbinger. honestly?! so now its my bc against a bs and a bc. Thinking that they must be shit fit anyways as they always are. i go get my Maelstrom and come back. surely they will fight them now. NOPE.

After about an 45 minutes of me wasting ammo on them, They agress me. HOORAY!!!!! that what was going on in my brain, alright i start laying into the tempest, about half way threw the tempests shields, 10 man local spike of course. i new i had some friends helping me out. like my buddy lyria docked up in the station with a hurricane. and his buddy's. they weren't going to engage but now the fight was on. our caldari militia friends warp their drake in and decloak the falcon, Warp in the hurricane

We wax the tempest almost the same time the bc blob lands. My maelstrom was not able to tank over 5000 battlecruiser dps, and the GTC Galatea went down.

After they were still camping in station. we decide FUCK it, were gonna fight them anyways, we undock in several harbingers only our 5 man gang against 10 bc's we still downed quiet a few bc's before they got us. whatever, they dont have the balls to fight Fair like we do.

Everytime we Fight Fair, Fair is fail.

T.R.I.A.D. are terribad: and I have stats to prove it

As you dear readers are all no doubt aware, after we moved into Vard, the local slaves (TRIAD) took great affront to our presence and demanded we leave (well, first they asked if we would move to Lantorn instead, but we said no). In response, they launched this campaign. Great stuff, I thought.  Now I don't even have to move system to get a fight. So, a week goes by, ships are popped, plexes are run and GF are had by all.
While perusing “teh interwebs”, I notice that this individual has posted an update on the 1st week of the campaign. Here’s where the fun starts. As you can see on the previous link, the centrepiece is a lovely table showing the number of kills, isk efficiency, and number of losses incurred by each of the top scorers. At least it would have, had the statistics been accurate. The campaign was announced on the 11th April, the update on the 18th, so it’s safe to assume this is the length of the first week of the campaign.
According to the table, good ol’ Mara Abraham is ranked 1st with 10 kills, 1 loss. Unfortunately, her killboard says otherwise. Remember, we’re looking at the period between the 11th and the 18th, for kills in Vard. What’s this? On the 11th alone she lost not one, but two ships? Maybe this doesn’t count either? I hope this blatant manipulation of statistics goes to show the character of my new lossmail stalker. Not only will he lie to the enemy, he'll lie to his corp.

Mystical Might

He is awesome that is all.
